Eligibility Criteria
Matric Recruit (MR):-
Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Candidates who are appearing in class 10th Board Exam of academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria.
Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR):-
10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Or
3 years diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate. Or
2 years Vocational Course with Non-vocational subject viz, Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who are appearing in class 12th Board Exam of academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria.

Mode Of Selection
Selection process of Agniveer (MR and SSR) - 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch will include two stages i.e. Stage I - Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test - INET), Stage II - ‘PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination.
Merit List : Merit list will be prepared based on performance in Stage-II written exam, subject to qualification in Physical Fitness Test and Recruitment Medical Examination. Merit List for Agniveer (MR and SSR) – Male and Female will be based on all India basis. Results will be published on candidate dashboard on website https://agniveernavy.cdac.in.
